Fruitways’ supervisors step up their performance with the help of Soar!

Striving to create an environment where employees are engaged, know what is expected of them, have the necessary skills and tools to do their job and are motivated to perform, Fruitways engaged Free To Grow in 2018 to help their supervisors grow in confidence, competence and commitment.

“It’s the first time that we’ve done Supervisor training that creates a platform that we can work from to grow our people and the business,”  says Fruitways Valley Packers Manager, Heinrich Woeke.

Soar!, a programme aimed at helping first-line leaders bridge the gap between leading self and leading others, was selected as the ideal vehicle for this. To ensure the sustainable transfer of learning back into the workplace, the 4-day blended learning journey was complemented by Orientation and Bridging sessions for the participants’ line managers, as well as Growth Projects and Coaching Circles.
